SYNOPSIS: Love that lasts the longest is love that is never returned. Tristan Ashling knows this all too well. Despite what he may believe to be true, love seems to be just beyond his reach. Due to circumstances beyond his control, he meets Maya and discovers that she is the girl of his dreams. Lost in a world of isolation Tristan is determined to be with Maya albeit their social and environmental differences. As their relationship blossoms into more, the world around Tristan begins to unravel as the past comes back to haunt him. Soon Tristan is faced with an important decision. Stay with Maya no matter the cost or take a different path and lose her forever.

Starks takes audiences on a journey through the mind and the heart of a man helplessly lost in a world shrouded in mystery and romantic milestones. During their first film venture Hallows Eve, the filmmakers had a mission to showcase local talent within their community and highlight their abilities. While the mission is still the same, Writer and Director P.J. Starks took that goal one step further. Due to the success and subsequent exposure with their horror/comedy it allowed them the option to network and socialize with more local and regional indie filmmakers. Recruiting artists from beyond the borders of Kentucky, the Verite Cinema team has now grown to include independent filmmakers and actors from other states including Ohio, Indiana and New Jersey. As well as working with some of the premiere indie production companies such as Alien Jungle Bug Productions, Digital Spectrum Films and Chaingang Productions, LLC. Strong foundations and relationships have been forged between local and regional filmmakers to build a professional network, creating a viable independent film industry in middle America.
