Many thanks to you guys. I was quite nervous about taking on the task of covering the contest, but you've all put my mind at ease. I'm really looking forward to listening to everyone's compositions at the end of this month. Glad my article inspired you to finish up your entry so quickly Paul and good luck to you and everyone else involved! _________________ Jordan Garren

Hey no problem, was more than happy to give you that nudge. What short film are you scoring Paul? Anything that we'll all be hearing a lot about in the near future? _________________ Jordan Garren

It is an utterly fantastic page, created by Richard McClure. So many download options... The compositions are terrific, overall. Very interesting to hear 16 different approaches to the same movie clip.

Yeah I couldn't really decide which I liked best Mike. You guys all did a phenomenal job in the music for the clip. I'm glad to see that you got fifth place by the way (technically fourth place since there was a tie for third place). Congrats man! _________________ Jordan Garren

No problem Mike. Yeah the choice was hella-difficult; I still haven't picked a favorite. In any case.....
The "final" coverage of the composer contest is now up. If you see any errors (typos, factual errors, etc.) please let me know. I didn't have time to go through it with a fine-toothed comb (let alone a hair-pic), and please let me know what your thoughts are.
Thanks guys.

My thoughts? You're one hell of a reporter, that's what I think! That was a fantastic writeup, Jordan! With 16 compositions to cover, there was a LOT of research to do.
I like how your writing style just sucks the reader into the story behind the facts. I look forward to your followups, on this.
I really enjoyed your perpective on the Lab Chase finalists (thanks for the kind words on my entry). Looking forward to reading the follow-up articles and learning more about the other folks in the contest.
