SYNOPSIS: John (WADE DIENERT) is a philanderer who hopes to make Angela (JENNIFER PRETTYMAN) his next conquest. But he doesn't remember how far back his relationship with Angela really goes. Angela can't forget the first time they met -- and John is due for a shocking reminder.

SOME OF ANGELA is a short thriller/horror film that's hitting the festival circuit. It's a tale of lust and revenge from the land that gave you the Coen Brothers,Terry Gilliam and Michelle Bachmann.

It's the follow-up to EMPTY TRASH (2010), a heist/horror hybrid co-directed by J.L. SOSA and TRISTAN CORRIGAN. A potent stomach-churner, EMPTY TRASH was an official selection for the 2011 PollyGrind Film Festival in Las Vegas, Minneapolis Underground Film Festival and EgoFest Short Film Festival. SOME OF ANGELA is just as suspenseful and visceral as EMPTY TRASH, but leaner, tauter, sexier and sleeker.

Talented multi-hyphenate JENNIFER PRETTYMAN starred in and co-produced SOME OF ANGELA and her co-star, WADE DIENERT was the executive producer. Director/editor/co-producer Sosa and Corrigan shared writing duties and cinematographer JUSTIN SCHAACK (MASQUERADE, THE BUTLER DID IT) graced the film with his trademark dark elegance.


ABOUT THE STARS:

JENNIFER PRETTYMAN has starred in film, TV, and commercials, and has written, produced, and directed various projects, including her 2010 short film MASQUERADE. Some of her acting credits include SUMMER SCHOOL, COME & GET YOUR LOVE, LIE, THE INTERVIEW and THE WEIGHT.

WADE DIENERT has appeared in 30 stage productions (including ONE FLEW OVER THE CUCKOO'S NEST at the Dakota Stage, THE GLASS MENAGERIE and DRACULA) and in dozens of independent films including EMPTY TRASH, the forthcoming thriller TILT and DUST OF WAR, a post-apocalyptic actioner due for release later this year.
